The Paleo Comfort Foods Cookbook Review

Paleo Comfort Foods: Homestyle Cooking in a Gluten-Free KitchenThere is really only one word to describe this cookbook and that is - Amazing!  When I first received my copy in the mail I was eager to rip open the package and thumb through it but quickly found myself mesmerized by every single page.  I have to admit that until now I haven't really been a fan of most cookbooks for several reasons, 1) they usually over complicate things and 2) there was usually always an adjustment that had to be made to accommodate my Paleo lifestyle.  In my opinion the Paleo Comfort Foods cookbook is the remedy for both of those issues.

Each page is laid out in a simple and easy format so that you can quickly understand how to make each dish.  The tips and tricks section at the bottom of each page provides you with all the things you'll need to know to plan ahead or to create a variation of the same recipe.  I think one of my favorite things about this book is the number of recipes they have provided.  With practical recipes on almost every page it will make even those who never cook want to start and those who are used to cooking want to try to make every recipe -- it's just that good.  There genuineness shines through in the introductory pages and you immediately get the feeling that there was a lot of heart and soul put into this book.   It's a pure delight to see that two people have put together such a wonderful book for everyone to enjoy,  not just people who eat Paleo.

Personally, I am going to try every recipe and also see which ones I can bring to social gatherings to fool those who aren't currently Paleo.  As many people know, one of the most challenging things about eating Paleo is the dinner parties and other social gatherings that make you feel like the outcast because you do not eat pizza or pasta.  This book provides you with the tools and information you need to combat those situations and delicious recipes so you can always bring over a dish that is tasty, satisfying and gluten free.

If you are considering purchasing this book, stop wasting your time and do so already because it will become an integral piece of your kitchen life.  Lastly, one thing you'll notice right away is the wonderful full page photography by Mark Adams.  It is just beautiful to see so many awesome pictures.  Get on over to Amazon so you can purchase it and change the way you look at food.  Thank you Julie & Charles!
